with Dr. Ehab Moussa
Dates: May 15-17, 2025
Location: The Center at Dental Ceramics
Tuition: $8,499 per participant and one assistant.
Course Summary:
This course delves into pre-prosthetic periodontal surgery, combining traditional and modern techniques. Day one covers factors affecting mucogingival health around teeth and implants, periodontal conditions influencing restorative dentistry, and essential resective and crown-lengthening techniques. It also includes mucogingival surgery techniques for soft tissue management. On day two, participants practice these techniques hands-on with fresh pig jaws, following a step-by-step approach for thorough understanding. Day three brings together the skills from day one and two, allowing you to perform the most valuable procedures on a patient you bring to the course. Techniques such as osseous crown lengthening, connective tissue grafts, and free gingival grafts to enhance keratinized tissue and root coverage can be performed. Each case will be reviewed and planned with Dr. Moussa and his team, with attending executing the procedures under their guidance. This hands-on experience ensures you gain the confidence to present and perform these techniques in your own practice.
